Restore your smile, your confidence, and your ability to eat and speak with ease.

Losing teeth — whether gradually or all at once — affects far more than your appearance. It changes how you eat, how you speak, and how you feel about yourself. Dentures have helped millions of people reclaim their quality of life, and today’s options are more comfortable, more natural-looking, and more versatile than ever before.

At Clinique Dentaire Granby, we work with you to find the right denture solution for your situation — whether you are replacing a few teeth or an entire arch. Our denturologist, Ariel Edery, brings specialized expertise to every case, ensuring a precise fit and a result you can feel confident in.

Dentures

Complete Dentures — Full Upper or Lower Arch

A complete denture replaces all the teeth on the upper arch, the lower arch, or both. It rests on the gums and is held in place by suction and the natural contours of your mouth. Complete dentures are custom-fabricated to match the shape of your jaw and the appearance you want — including the size, shape, and shade of the teeth.

While modern complete dentures are significantly more comfortable and natural-looking than those of previous generations, some patients — particularly those with a lower denture — find that stability can be a challenge over time. If you are experiencing movement or discomfort with your current denture, implant-based solutions (described below) can transform your experience dramatically.

Best for:

Patients who have lost all teeth on one or both arches and are looking for a removable, cost-effective solution to restore their smile and function.

Partial Dentures — Replacing Some Missing Teeth

A partial denture is used when one or more teeth are missing but healthy natural teeth remain. It consists of replacement teeth attached to a gum-colored base, held in place by clasps or precision attachments that clip onto existing teeth. Partial dentures are removable for cleaning and are fabricated to blend naturally with your remaining teeth.

They serve both a functional and a protective purpose — filling in gaps prevents neighboring teeth from drifting out of position, maintains the balance of your bite, and preserves the overall structure of your smile.

Best For:

Patients missing several teeth in one or both arches who still have healthy natural teeth remaining. A cost-effective option when implants are not preferred or indicated.

Overdenture

Implant-Retained Dentures — Stability That Changes Everything

If your current denture moves when you eat, shifts when you talk, or requires adhesive paste to stay in place, you are not alone — and there is a better solution. An implant-retained denture (also called an overdenture) uses two to four dental implants placed in the jawbone to anchor your denture securely in place.

The denture snaps onto the implants using precision attachments, eliminating movement entirely. It is still removable for easy nightly cleaning, but stays firmly locked during the day. Patients who upgrade from a conventional denture to an implant-retained one consistently describe the difference as life-changing — renewed confidence to eat what they want, speak without hesitation, and smile without worry.

Best For:

Patients with a full denture that moves or is uncomfortable. Typically requires only 2 implants for the lower arch and 4 for the upper. A highly impactful upgrade with relatively straightforward surgical requirements.

Immediate Dentures — Teeth on the Day of Extraction

An immediate denture is fabricated in advance and placed on the same day as your extractions, so you never have to go without teeth. This is an important option for patients who are having all remaining teeth removed and cannot manage a healing period without a prosthesis.

Because the denture is made before the extractions take place, some adjustments will be needed as your gums heal and reshape over the following weeks and months. A reline — an adjustment to the fit of the denture — is typically performed once healing is complete. Our team will walk you through the full process and timeline before you begin.

Best For:

Patients undergoing full extractions who need a functional, aesthetic solution from day one. Avoids any period of being without teeth during the healing process.

Denture Maintenance, Relining & Repairs

Dentures require regular care and periodic professional attention. Over time, as the jawbone and gum tissue naturally change shape, dentures can become loose or ill-fitting — which leads to discomfort, sore spots, and difficulty eating. A reline adjusts the fitting surface of the denture to match the current contour of your mouth, restoring comfort and stability without replacing the entire prosthesis.

We also offer denture repairs for cracks, chips, or broken clasps. If your denture breaks, contact us as soon as possible — we will do our best to accommodate you quickly so you are not left without it for long.
